Lost moments 4:350:00/4:35
Mirrored sleeper
we sleep and we walk
through this life
and this dark night
lucid, fluid souls dance
like snowflakes in the wind
She has moonlight in her eyes
absent smile
her back to the sun
sometimes we were strangers
sometimes we were one
lie with me
long into the night
don’t doubt me
Promise...
find sleep in my arms
in the morning
they are empty
distant eyes
yet longing for warmth
sometimes she’s a whisper
sometimes she’s a storm
we were talking for hours
speaking only in body language
but sometimes even love
can get lost in translation
now the ground is frozen where she sits
fading away
what are we but ghosts
projections of light into the darkness
my strange ghost and me
you were not only a poet
you were poetry
Lost moments
their beauty is
to last only for so long
then they are gone
